The illustrations in this book were created digitally. I love that the cover of the book has texture to it! Every page is jammed-packed with color. The detail on every page is fantastic. 

I chose art as my content and  1st-3rd as my grades. I would incorporate this book by asking the children if they thought there was a lesson behind the story. Explain the lesson behind the story to them, then proceed to give them a hand-out that's asking the question, " Why is so important to accept others?"

I chose art as my content and Pre-k - 1st as my grades. I would incorporate this book by asking the children what they want to be when they grow up. Then I would get them to fill out a coloring sheet drawing on their character what they want to be.

This is the lyrical biography of Simone Biles, a gymnastics champion and Olympic superstar. Her story is an inspiring one, that can really show you what you can do when you put your mind to it. That as many obstacles you have in your way you too can overcome them.

The illustrations in this book are very colorful and bright. The drawings could have possibly been in watercolor, the illustrations are hand-drawn. There are so many details in the pictures which makes the book even more inviting. 

I chose language arts as my content and 3rd for my grade. I would incorporate this book by asking the children if her story inspires them. Then I would get them to do a hand-written letter to her telling how she inspires them,
