There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, but with a twist to the classic story we all grew up reading! The old lady who swallowed a fly goes through a trial where she loses her things. The old lady who swallowed a fly loses her hat, coat, sock, and her wig. By the end she has had enough of losing her things, so takes things into her own hands. What will she do?
The illustrations in this book are very colorful and bright. Some of the pictures have some hands-on, or touch to the pages. The illustrations are hand-drawn and give the perfect touch to the story.
I chose science as my content and 1st for my grade. I would incorporate this book by giving the children a matching section, where they will match what animal ate what. Then I will ask the children what these animals actually eat, and give a lesson on that.
